ABOUT LOLA LASRY

For Lola Lasry, an image is never only an image. It is a meeting point—between people, instinct and intention; between what is visible and what is true.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Lasry began studying photography in 2009 before moving to the Netherlands to pursue a BA in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Trained in sculpture yet instinctively multidisciplinary, she developed an eye attuned to form, movement, texture and the quiet tension between bodies and their surroundings. Her artistic work has since been presented across Argentina, the Netherlands and Belgium, including at Museum Night, the Mauritshuis and De Appel Arts Centre.

After graduating, she spent six years living nomadically, following coastlines, creative communities and lives shaped by the ocean. It was during this period that her visual language came fully into focus: natural yet considered, intimate without being intrusive, and always drawn towards freedom, sensuality and human connection.

Today, Lasry works internationally as a photographer, creative director and visual storyteller across fashion, hospitality, lifestyle and wellness. She is currently a creative director at an agency in Ibiza, following previous roles as a producer in Argentina and creative director in Canada. Her practice moves fluidly between concept, production and image-making, allowing her to shape not simply photographs, but entire visual worlds.

Her clients and collaborations include Nike, FILA, DoorDash and GRLSWIRL, alongside independent brands, hotels, retreats and creative projects around the world. Yet regardless of scale, her approach remains deeply personal. Lasry is less interested in polish for its own sake than in finding the most authentic expression of a person, place or idea.

Communication lies at the centre of her work. She is driven by a desire to connect people, translate emotion and uncover what feels honest beneath performance. This sensitivity is especially present in her portrait practice, where she creates intimate experiences for women to reconnect with their bodies, playfulness and sense of self beyond external expectations.

Alongside her visual practice, Lasry currently offers one-to-one mentorships for creative professionals seeking greater clarity, direction and confidence in how they communicate their work.

Whether directing a campaign, photographing a woman in nature or guiding another creative towards a clearer point of view, Lola returns to the same pursuit: work that feels real, creates connection and leaves something behind.
